The origin

Enginet Ltd. was set up in 2000 by some industrial managers who conducted, for decades, activities of engineering, research and development in the electrical, electromechanical and energy domains within important Italian companies, like ENEL and CISE.
Enginet can resort to the co-operation of experts coming from municipal concerns of electricity, water, and gas distribution. It maintains a close co-operation with several Departments of the Polytechnic of Milano, as well.

The activity

The establishment of the company coincided with the start of the liberalisation process of the Italian electricity market. The main aim of the company is to follow up studies, to develop research and projects, to provide consulting services in the domains of production, transmission, distribution, and utilisation of the electric energy.
The liberalisation of the electricity market, with the appearance of new actors and the need for managing complex systems in a competitive environment, created new requirements. Enginet hopes to meet these requirements with a high degree of flexibility and ability.
